My entry for the Kuolemattomat contest hold by

Basicly the contest is about to create a side character for the comic Kuolemattomat. The comic is about five dragons who are captured in Limbo (a place between life and afterlife) and their search for a way out of this place.

...I know characters with removed limbs are not that original... and yes he has two wings.

About this character:

Name: Neheor [Neh-heh-ohr] (I wanted to call him Dead-end...but that wasn´t a good decision... or Ikk till I noticed to many names who sound very close to that are already on dA...)
Age: around 50
About his dragon species: He belong to one of those "generic" dragons; fire resistent (to a certain point); can life 500 years; can not breath fire or smoke; after they reach the age of 200 fur starts to replace their scales; these guys need at least all two weeks something to eat otherwise they get really week till they die after some days
Gender: Male
Size: 140cm (around 55.12 inch) till the shoulder. 200cm (around 78.74 inch) from the ground to the head
Weight: 120kg (around 264.55 lbs)

How he died:
Through a kind of fire bomb and to much lost blood.

As he walked down a river he accidently stepped on a buried bomb... as he wanted to look what beeped there it already exploded under his left feet.
It was not that kind of bomb that really can destruct a car...or house (with the explosion itself) but it was filled with a tinderlike fluid that can burn down whole forests.
As this bomb was still strong enough to "remove" his left foot and set him on fire.
He would not have died through the fire (at least not that fast), still it burnt much parts of his legs and face.
He was very weak at that point, he had not eaten something for nearly three weeks neither he was able hunt something as anything he was able to hunt already died (rats and mice... and not all people who lived there liked them that much... so they were poisoning these poor creatures. And you do not want to eat something poisoned too, right?)... he was not sure if he would survive till the next day...
As the bomb exploded he was to weak already to move any greater distance... he just died there half way bleeding half way burning.

He was used afterwards from the surrounding humans as bonfire to burn the poisoned rats... he burnt at least for nearly 15 hours and anything that was left of him was the skeleton... poor guy.

Personality:
He is not a really communicative person as he was the most time of his life alone... he had no one around to talk... or to socialize with others in general. He sometimes stumble upon his own words what let him stutter from time to time... not always though... but more than normal people do. He is not shy he just never had the chance to talk much. But he likes to think positive and always try to smile.

He often calls his wings his "useless attachment".

His two years in Limbo have taught him to not trust anyone with a smile on his face... as he could easily disconnect your head from your body in the next second. And he will not show any mercy to those who tries that with him. He is not more as weak as he died... still not as strong as he could be...

His life:
He was the most time of his life alone as said... commonly he wasn´t even able to eat at least once a week as he was in a strong competition to other dragons or hunters... sometimes a rat or a bird was the only thing that he could get for the whole week. But nonetheless he was able to stay alive... also he was always very weak.

There is nothing special to tell about his live... he never met someone who actually accompanied him longer than a day... never seen any interesting places... he was neither hunted nor was he self someone special... he tried to survive but failed at least...

His life in Limbo:
He noticed quickly that something was not right with him as he still burnt but didn´t felt much pain... the first thing he did was to bury himself in a hole he digged to get rid of the fire. After some hours as he came out and he noticed that he was at a complete different place... mainly because there wasn´t a river in the near...
His first encounter with an other dragon in Limbo wasn´t a very pleasant (as the most would be...) his leg got bitten nearly to the half off, of the other dragon. Still he managed to find a spot to hide and attack the other dragon from behind (both were very weak... they could have killed each other easily) and defeated him.
Through his two years in Limbo he also regained some weight with devouring other dragons... but he usually didn´t hunt them, as he just ate those who tried to eat him.
